My Story
I grew up in a world where writing was considered a "nice hobby". Except it became more than that for me as I added all types of writing to my portfolio: newspaper, magazine, book, B2B, social media. I've always hated that old saying: Write what you know. How boring is that! Sure, I do write what I know: Pennsylvania, family, gardening, food. But I always thrive on the unexpected assignments that let me delve into motorcycle organizations (they don't like the world gangs), baseball, ostriches and the military. How about we replace that old writer's saying with: Write what interests you!
