Goldilocks Finds a New Market

Being a freelance writer is a lot like being Goldilocks - not the breaking and entering part - but always searching for a new market that fits you "just right". Does it have assignments that interest you, do you have the right tone for them, could it turn into recurring work? Questions that are a lot more difficult to answer than if the porridge is too hot. So it's always a cause for celebration when you connect with a new market.

Let's celebrate! 🥳 Last week I made my debut in a brand new publication PROVOKED by susan with Surviving the Sandwich Generation: How to Be a Generational Translator. This is a publication that lets women over 50 get sassy about life. Because I, for one, am sick to death of the "Women Over 50 Shouldn't Wear these Ten Things" articles online that I suspect are written by 20 somethings with no experience living as a 50+ woman.

Check out this marvelous publication as well as the image commissioned to go with my article. Yes, the bologna does look like me - so much so that I want to frame it and hang it on my wall - but let be clear that the grandma does not look anything like my spunky red headed, shoe loving mom.
