Jesse Q. Sutanto Week

It's not officially Jesse Q. Sutanto Week but it is here at Words by Webb. It all started last year when my daughter took me to a new indie bookstore that opened in her neighborhood called Bookshelf Shennanigans. The owner was wonderfully enthusiastic - just what you want in your bookstore owner. Of course I had to buy something and Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto leapt off the shelves and into my arms. Or maybe I picked it up. My memory gets fuzzy once I enter a bookstore.

You can read my review HERE and I'm just about to start reading the second book in the Vera Wong series (released April 1): Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man).

But there's more to the story.

I happen to write for an outlet called Tea Journey that was in the middle of revamping their pages, including a new Tea and Books page. Somehow I summoned up my courage and contacted Jesse Q. Sutanto, an author who has one book in development by Netflix and another about to be in development with Warner Bros. TV and asked to interview her for Tea Journey. And she said yes!

Once that became a thing I read everything of hers I could get my hands on so I decided to gather them all in one week just in case you want to go Jesse Q. Sutanto crazy like me. You can read my interview HERE and more reviews on Wednesday and Friday.

Thanks for all the great reads, Jesse.
