Thoughts About Have You Seen Him

The deeper I got into Have You Seen Him, the more I thought of it as a spider web. The many people introduced were like so many threads and I couldn't imagine how - or if - they would cross paths. That off-balance feeling of not really knowing what was happening was enough to keep me reading so I could bring the blurry parts of this story into focus.

Although there are a few exhilarating scenes involving car chases, gunshots and car trunks, it feels more like a book that delves into the thoughts and emotions of the people. Author Kimberly Lee did a good job creating realistic characters. The good guys aren't always brave. The bad guys aren't always evil. There are lots of gray areas that make you wonder "What would I do?"
