Win for Your Library

I'm beginning to think I should dedicate each Monday to library and bookstore news! Today's news is:

You could win $250 for your favorite library!

This fun contest is hosted by the Chicago Public Library Foundation and you can enter HERE. Don't miss this chance, the contest ends on October 27 at 11:45 pm. US residents only. Nonfiction Essay

Here's a totally unrelated thing! Just a week left to enter the WOW Creative Nonfiction Essay contest. The deadline is Saturday, October 31. They only take 300 entries and it's just 36% full. Math isn't my strong suit but I think that's around 100 entries or so. So you should enter! The prizes are

• Winner - $500

• Second Place - $300

• Third Place - $200

• Runners Up - $25 gift cards (up to 7 runners up)

• Honorable Mentions (up to 10 awarded)

PLUS a free item from CreateWriteNow for all 20 winners. Word count from 200 to 1000 words on any topic. Learn more about the contest HERE.
